Dolly Parton Cole Slaw Dressing

I found this scribbled on a piece of paper in a folder full of recipes, so I don’t even know if it’s authentic. But it sure is good. The pickle juice is a really great addition.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sweet pickle juice
  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • 2 Tbs sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients together and mix well. Allow to rest in the refrigerator for at least four hours before serving for the best flavor.

Notes

I've made this a few times and it is good, but it is also thin. Don't add too much to your cole slaw mix.
Also, don't add the salt until you've tasted it. I generally find that the brand of sweet pickles I use has enough salt that I don't need to add any.
