Why bother with the little packets from the store when you can whip this together using things you probably already have in your pantry. Three (and possibly only two) ingredients and you are good to go!

Equipment

  • 1 bowl (small)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp minced onions
  • 4 tsp beef bullion crumbles
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl. Use immediately or store tightly sealed for future use.

Notes

To make beef onion soup, bring four cups of water to a boil, stir in mix, and simmer until dried onions are tender.
To make onion chip dip, add mix to a 16-oz carton of sour cream. Stir well. (Best made 4-24 hours in advance.)
