Vegan Cilantro Lime Crema
An easy, completely dairy free version of genuine crema. Easy and tasty!
Ingredients
- 1 cup cashews (raw)
- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup cilantro (freshly chopped)
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp granulated garlic
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp lime juice (Approximately one medium, juiced)
Instructions
- Soak the cashews in water to cover overnight, or at least 12 hours.
- Drain the cashews and add them a blender.
- Add all other ingredients, and blend until smooth.
- Serve over food or with chips.
