Instructions
Brown the ground beef over medium heat and drain if necessary.
Add the onions, carrots, and green pepper and cook, stirring often, until vegetables are tender.
Add sloppy joe mix, 2 cups beef broth, and ⅔ cup water. Stir well, and bring to a boil.
Add the macaroni, stir well, and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until macaroni is cooked through.
If making soup, rather than stew, add the additional cup of beef broth and water, stir to combine, and heat through.
Serve with hearty bread.
